Another Unexpected Wave To Ride

 

I worked hard on filling out the application for school. I had not heard about financial aid and I am not even sure they had it. But I got the papers done with the help of my mother and sent them off. But the biggest problem was no money. I could not help there much.

 

I had two brothers one and eight years older. Both were in college across the state. My oldest brother had been drafted and served his time in the military. They even took him out of college on a recall. So he was still working on his mechanical engineering degree and he hated dorms. They were too noisy.

 

I am not sure if he is the one who brought up the idea, I do not think it was my mom as she was not keen on me going to college, but the idea came up that if we all moved to the college we could afford it. My mother would work, she always loved to work before the two youngest were born. This was her chance.

 

She set about making plans. Yes it would work, no it wouldn't. Well maybe, lets see. if and when, or perhaps, then again, test but…..
